Welcome to my blog!
My name is Jeffrey Neal and I am an Orange County Photographer!

This is where you can see all that I am doing in the world of photography!  On my blog you will find the latest images from all the shoots that I have, information for my clients and any other crazy ideas or projects that I have.
This story is so cute!  Suzi and Jack contacted me about a week and half before they were getting married.  Their wedding date was May 10th and unfortunately I was not able to shoot their wedding.  When I met with these two it was so obvious how giddy in love they were.  I was sitting with them thinking that this is how I want to be with my wife when I am 70 years old.  Though I was not able to shoot their wedding I really wanted to capture what these two had so they agreed to do an engagement session with me.

We went down to Crystal Cove and started shooting.  This had to be one of the easiest sessions I have ever shot because of how cute they were together.  I was so blessed to be able to shoot them and I think the images came out great!

For all the photographers, I left my digital at home and just brought my Contax 645.  I shot Fuji 400 pro rated a stop over at 200.  I love love love how these turned out and all are straight from the lab no editing at all.

Wow, I have not blogged in a while, I have been so busy!  This last week I was in Newport all week with Mike Colon at his amazing workshop and next week I will be in North Carolina shooting with Eleisa Johnson but I promise to get back to blogging again when I get back.

Last week I shot Kristin and Andrew's wedding in San Clemente.  Kristin is a referral from Jessi and Stephens wedding in 07'.  It is always so fun to see brides you shot at another wedding.  We had so much fun shooting these two at the pier in SC.  Enjoy!

Check out Kristin's Monique Lhuillier dress!

Well, I know this is late but I have just got my film back from BLEND not because it took RPL this long to do it, it just took me this long to send it in.  I wanted to send in about 20 rolls at a time so I had a lot to shoot!  I have been so excited shooting film, it has brought back the fire and passion to photography again and for that I am so thankful.  This is fuji 400 shot at 200 and Ilford 3200 shot at 1600.  Film just looks like the way I want it to the first time!

gotta admire that you are using film in a digital age--i may just have to try it! looks great and has a depth that digital can't quite get.

A few weeks ago I went to the hills of Ladera Ranch to shoot little JD.  I made the choice to only shoot my Contax 645 and fuji pro 400.  I am so excited about the way these images look.  I swear when RPL let me know that my film was ready I got excited like a little kid on Christmas morning.  I could not wait to see each individual images and I was blown away at how they look.  These are all totally unedited and straight from RPL.  Would love to hear some photographers thoughts on the film.

These pictures are sooo adorable! I'm no photographer, but capturing the cuteness of a little boy who probably just wants to run around and play and not hold still probably isn't easy - great job!!!

Yesterday I went up to Hollywood to shoot Megan and Andrew's engagement session.  We had such an amazing time together walking around Hollywood and shooting some images.  These two are so cute together and are were awesome to shoot, very natural and very in love.  After shooting we had a little sushi at the Geisha House and it was amazing as always.  Check out just a few!
