Welcome to my blog!
My name is Jeffrey Neal and I am an Orange County Photographer!

This is where you can see all that I am doing in the world of photography!  On my blog you will find the latest images from all the shoots that I have, information for my clients and any other crazy ideas or projects that I have.
On Friday I went up to LMU to meet Jenna and Bryan for their engagement session.  Jenna and Bryan wanted some images with their cute little dog Annabelle, and I am so stoked on how they turned out.  Sometimes dogs can be a little crazy but she was perfect for her portrait session.  Jenna and Bryan got all dressed up and we shot around LMU and then headed to the Santa Monica Pier to finish the evening.  It was so great getting to know these two and I am so stoked for their wedding in September.

BTW, Jenna's dress was freaking ridiculously gorgeous!
Enjoy!!

InDesign is the way to go.  I have messed around with it before but never really sunk my teeth into using it because Photoshop was working.  When CS5 came out of course I went and got the new toys and decided to give it a go.  My buddy Mark Brooke sent over his templates for me to try out and OMG it was so easy and so much more effective than Photoshop.  I know some of you are going to say, "of course it is made to design", yeah now I get it.

First off it can all be drag and drop.  Love that!!!  Second the images are so much easier to change in size and shape while keeping what you want lined up lined up.  I am going to quit with the succession now because I will be spelling out numbers for a while.  Once an image is laid down you can go back in PS and edit the image and when you go back to the album the image is there already changed just like you made it.  This is great because if you want an image to be B/W you don't have to do anything except edit the original.  Time Saver!!!  Adding strokes and changing page colors is super easy.  If you have three frames and you want one image to cover all three you just click a button and bam, the image go to all three instead of one.  There are million other reasons so if you want just ask!!

All of these were designed with Mark Brooke's templates which I highly recommend to you.  There are some pretty FUNKY designs in there.  It is also super easy to design your own templates or just add to the ones you got.  I am going to put a link at the bottom of this post so you know where to go to get these.  I hope this was helpful and if you have any questions please let me know.

This is from Jaclyn and Tyler's engagement shoot earlier in the year!

Full Discloser:  I do get a cut if you order the templates after clicking from my site!!!

A few weeks ago I traveled out to the Ponte Winery in Temecula to shoot Amy & Nicks beautiful wedding with my good buddy Hoffmann.  This year I had planned to second shoot more than I did last year and I am so glad that I did.  There is something so good about second shooting and doing this just because I love it.

Amy and Nick had a gorgeous all green wedding that was perfectly put together by the ladies over at DetailsDetails.  It could not have been more perfect.  The dress was a 100% hemp silk and all the floral arrangements were totally edible with artichoke and eggplant.

At the end of the ceremony they released doves and it was such an awesome picture for the peace we have with God and the freedom to enjoy this life in His grace.  I hope you enjoy, this is a long post!!!!

So good! The tenth picture down stopped me dead in my reader. The tree looks like its swirling its oranges around her. Such a great catch, use of T/S. Dang Jeffery, that shot is the bees knees.

Wedding photography has evolved over the years. Portraits and staged poses used to be the norm, but wedding photography now includes those rare, easily missed candid moments in between the main action of your nuptials. The memories of your big day will be taken to new heights by the artists behind the cameras at Hendricks Kim Photography. The photos from my wedding are timeless, I am very pleased. Finding an LA Wedding Photographer can be difficult. I got all of my info for my wedding from their website at http://hendrickskimphotography.com good luck with your wedding!
